ATC-Limerick Lounge 2019 Charity Golf Event

The Limerick Lounge sports pub, located at 912 Toft Ave. in Antioch, has held a charity golf outing every year since 2002. Past events have raised approximately $10,000 to $13,000 each year for local charities. The popular lounge/restaurant has announced they will be doing a reprise of the event in 2019.

Limerick has once again chosen the Antioch Traveling Closet Corporation NFP (ATC) as its 2019 golf-outing charity. The event will be held at the Spring Valley Country Club in Salem, Wisconsin on Friday, June 21.

By providing donations in the form of cash, gift certificates, sponsorships, goods and/or services, your participation in this year’s event will immediately and positively change the lives of many local families for the better. 

The ATC collects new or slightly-used clothing and shoes, school supplies, toiletries, and cleaning supplies and provides them to local residents who in need of a little extra help, all free of charge. The ATC holds three giveaways a year at the Antioch Senior Center, 817 Holbek Dr. in Antioch. Families and individuals come to the event and select items which they need from thousands of the aforementioned items. They can also receive haircuts from licensed hair stylists at no charge if they choose, as well.

Additionally, some of the area schools often contact the ATC looking for certain items for their students. The ATC also aids in the support of families and individuals that suddenly become homeless or are suffering other hardships.
